DWR J.F. Skinner Fish Screen Facility
As part of the State Water Project to supply usable water to both urban and agricultural users, the Skinner Delta Fish Protective Facility diverts most fish away from the pumps that lift water into the California Aqueduct. As a result, up to 15 million fish each year are saved from the pumps and returned to the Delta. The project consisted of a new facilities building and a boat dock.
