400 Paul is a new two-story, 187,700 square foot building to serve as the first data center constructed in the city of San Francisco in ten years. The 1,534 tons of structural steel required to be erected for this project included three stairs and 50 BRB’s to be installed.  Due to site limitations, WSE developed an erection procedure to keep the 200-ton lattice boom crane within the building footprint while still allowing the foundation to be poured around the crane path.
